Queue Ball is an Alexa skill that allows users to access and control music stored in their own JRiver Media Center or Plex Media Server library. This Privacy Policy explains what information Queue Ball collects, why it is used, and how it is protected.
Depending on the media server you connect, we may store:
JRiver connection credentials are stored in encrypted form. Plex sign-in happens directly with Plex; Queue Ball does not receive your Plex password. Account-linking tokens are protected and used to identify the Queue Ball configuration associated with a linked Alexa account.
We use this information only as necessary to:
Queue Ball may request information from your connected media library when needed to respond to your commands. This can include information such as song titles, artists, albums, playlists, genres, ratings, and other media metadata. Queue Ball does not require you to upload your music library to Queue Ball.
We do not sell your personal information, JRiver credentials, or Plex authorization data to advertisers or other third parties.
Information may be processed by services necessary to operate Queue Ball, including Amazon Alexa, hosting providers, JRiver or Plex services as applicable, and the media server you choose to connect. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or operation of Queue Ball.
Information associated with your Queue Ball account is retained while needed to provide the service. You may unlink Queue Ball from your Alexa account at any time. To request deletion of stored Queue Ball account information, contact us using the address below.
We use reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect stored credentials, authorization tokens, and account information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Queue Ball is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Queue Ball, please contact us so that it can be removed.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Queue Ball changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
