CloudPlay Setup
CloudPlay is a JRiver-only service used by Queue Ball for CloudPlay playback. To use it, you need a CloudPlay account and must be signed in to CloudPlay on the JRiver Media Center computer linked to Queue Ball.
1. Create a CloudPlay account
JRiver requires a CloudPlay account. If you do not already have one, create one on JRiver's CloudPlay website.
2. Sign in to CloudPlay in JRiver
- Open JRiver Media Center on the computer linked to Queue Ball.
- Open CloudPlay in JRiver Media Center.
- Sign in with your CloudPlay account.
Make sure the specific JRiver installation linked to Queue Ball is signed in to CloudPlay. Being signed in on a different computer does not sign in this installation.
3. Test CloudPlay in JRiver
Before testing through Queue Ball, confirm that CloudPlay works directly inside JRiver Media Center on that computer.
4. Try CloudPlay with Queue Ball
Alexa, ask Queue Ball to start CloudPlay with artist Madonna
Alexa, ask Queue Ball to start CloudPlay with genre soul
Alexa, ask Queue Ball to start CloudPlay with playlist Five Stars
See more Play Doctor, CloudPlay, and Radio JRiver commands.
CloudPlay still not working?
Confirm that the same CloudPlay request works directly in JRiver and that JRiver is still signed in to CloudPlay. Then see the Queue Ball troubleshooting section for additional checks.
